Santa arrived to Toronto

Dear Fanni and Matyi, I want to share with you some photos of the Santa Parade, which I liked a lot, although it was very cold to wait 3 hours for Santa to arrive! :) Areg

  1. Hi Areg,

It seems that this was a great fun! Santa is really in time in Canada, we only expect him to come on the 6th December! Did we ever tell you about the traditions in Hungary about Santa Clause?
On the 5th of December, in the evening, before you go to sleep you have to choose the biggest boots you have). You have to clean it really nicely. And then you have to place it next to the window, and open the window a very little. During the night, the Santa Clause will visit all the children and place some peanuts and choclate with Santa Clause shape in the boots. But you have to behave very good, because only the good children receive choclates! (I am always a bit worried if I was good enough, so I always try to be very good on the last days!)
What is the Armanian or Canadian tradition,do you know already?
    Hugs, Fanni

  2. Hi Fanni,

I love Hungarian tradition! I am also trying to behave well, so Santa will bring presents for me too. Last year he put presents under the Christmas tree, I expect him to do the same this year. But we don't have a Christmas tree yet, but we'll have one soon. We already saw a nice one in the shop. Kisses to Peori, Matyi and you!
